Caring for Labradorite Gemstone Jewelry
A stone of transformation, Labradorite is a useful companion through change, imparting strength and perseverance. It balances and protects the aura, raises consciousness, and grounds spiritual energies. Excellent for strengthening intuition - promoting psychic abilities. Labradorite banishes fears and insecurities and strengthens faith in the self and trust in the universe. Labradorite will often look dull or gray at one angle, the bright blue or red as it rotates, and fakes will stay constantly colorful.
One of our most asked questions is how I care for my natural gemstones. We will be sharing more Q&A in the coming few weeks. If you have any questions related to your gemstones, put them below -
Can my Labradorite rings get wet?
Yes, Labradorite jewelry can get wet, and it is perfectly fine to wash your hands with your rings now and then. It scores between a six and a 6.5 on the Gemstone hardness scale, which means that water won't cause any real damage. That being said, we don't recommend that you soak this material extensively in water or a saltwater solution because it can damage the gemstone. We also recommend taking your rings out before showering or getting into the pool/sauna.
How do I clean my Labradorite rings?
Smudge sticks are always a classic, but we usually advise holding your labradorite jewelry under clear running water for a few seconds and cleaning it with a soft dry cloth.
What is the easiest way to charge Labradorite?
The easiest way to charge your labradorite jewelry is to leave it under the moonlight in your ring dish in a nice dry area. Smudging is also another well-known way to charge any crystals. You can also leave it in the company of cleansing/purification stones like Clear Quartz and Selenite.
